DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2019
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

FAIR AND COOL WITH EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AND
PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES….

We observed an excellent visibility of 80 miles
throughout the day. Conditions remain dry and
autumn-like, due to a high pressure center above
the region; as well as a light sea breeze. Many
visitors were seen at the observatory to enjoy
the nice weather. The high so far today is 72F,
4 degrees lower than the normal of 76F. The low
since midnight is 56F, 3 degrees lower than the
daily normal minimum of 59F.

We end off the month of August 2019 with slightly
warmer than normal temperatures, and a low monthly
rain total. Rainfall received last month was only
