We observed a good visibility of 70 miles
throughout the day. Wind increased as the day went on,
and shifted from NE-E around noon. The highest gust so
far today is 30 mph later on in the day. Higher winds
have been more consistent due to Hurricane Dorian
moving closer and closer to New England. Skies became
completely overcast between 7 A.M. and 10 A.M. with
a mix of stratus fractus and altocumulus clouds.
The high so far today is 65F, which is 10 degrees
below the daily normal maximum of 75F. The low since
midnight is 56F, which is 2 degrees below the normal
minimum of 58F.
