ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2019
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

CLOUDY DAY WITH MORNING FOG AND AFTERNOON
HAZE WITH INCREASING WIND SPEEDS….

This morning started out foggy with a visibility of only
1/16th of a mile. As the day progressed, this fog began
to lift, leaving for visibility of about 20 miles by the
10 A.M. observation, and remained 20 miles for the 1 P.M.
observation. The high so far today has been 81 degrees,
which is our normal maximum temperature for today. Our low
since midnight was 67F, which is 4 degrees above our
normal low temperature of 63F. We remain almost 4 degrees
above normal for the month so far as of yesterday due to
higher than normal temperatures for the beginning of the
month. Wind speed increased from a light 5 mile per hour wind
at the 7 o’clock observation to over 10 miles per hour at 1 P.M.
as low pressure enters the area.
