PARTLY CLOUDY WITH GOOD VISIBILITY AND
INCREASING WIND IN THE AFTERNOON….

Visibility this morning was 80 miles, but decreased
to 70 by 10 A.M. due to a distant haze. Rainfall
overnight left 0.04 inches in the gauge, measured
at 7 A.M. Wind increased later on this morning, with
the average wind speed currently being 20 mph. The
highest gust so far today is 40 mph following the
1 P.M. observation. Wind has remained westerly
throughout the day, supplying the area with some
cold air. Despite sunny conditions, temperatures
today have remained consistent with seasonal
averages for this reason. The high so far today is
68F, 3 degrees below the daily normal maximum of 71F.
The low since midnight is 51F, 2 degrees below the
normal minimum of 53F.
