Last night’s rain left 1.10 inches in the gauge
at the 7 A.M. observation. Rain has dropped in
intensity since this morning, with only an additional
0.12 inches falling between 7 A.M. and 1 P.M. Wind
has remained northeasterly, blowing at an average of
15 mph. Considering overcast skies and some cold air
advection from the north, temperatures today have remained
well below seasonal averages. The high so far today is 44F,
22 degrees below the normal maximum of 66F. This is 4 degrees
above the daily record low max of 40F, recorded in 1931. The
low since midnight is 38F, 9 degrees below the normal daily
minimum of 47F.
