A COOL FALL DAY WITH LIGHT WINDS AND FOG DISSIPATING
IN THE AFTERNOON….

Fog this morning limited visibility to 1/16th mile, but
began to break up shortly following the 10 A.M. observation.
The highest visibility so far seen at 1 P.M is 35 miles. We
measured .07 inches from yesterday’s rain, and .01 inches from
a passing shower this morning after 7 A.M. We observed a pressure
fall of almost 4 millibars between the 10 A.M. and 1 P.M.
observations. Winds have remained relatively light, but
have increased slightly throughout the day. A wind shift
from ENE to ESE was observed between 10 and 11 A.M.
The high temperature reached so far today is 44F, 2 degrees
below the daily normal of 42F. The low since midnight is 39F,
9 degrees below the normal minimum of 30F.
