MOSTLY SUNNY DAY AFTER EARLY MORNING THUNDERSTORMS….

The storms began around yesterday afternoon with torrential
downpours at times. Another storm moved over Great Blue
Hill around 2:30 A.M. This morning we measured 0.77 ins.
since 1:00 P.M. yesterday afternoon. The rain ended just
before the 7:00 A.M. observation and a quick moving shower
was observed around 7:45 A.M. leaving an additional trace
so far today. The peak gust for yesterday and so far today
both occurrence during the thunderstorms. So far today we
have a peak gust of 29 MPH (25 kts) at 2:32 A.M.
Visibility continues to be obscured by the haze in the area
and we had a max of 40 miles by 1:00 P.M. Temperatures
continue to be above normal with a max so far today of
85F, 5 degrees above the daily normal of 80F. Since midnight
we observed a low temperature of 71F, 8 degrees above the
daily normal of 63F.
