DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
THURSDAY, JULY 12, 2018
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY ON GREAT BLUE HILL..

We had a sunny, clear, dry day with comfortable
temperatures and humidity. The high temperature
so far today is 76F, which is 5 degrees below the
daily normal of 81F.
We had low humidity and dew points in the low 50’s
for most of the day. The dry air made for excellent
visibility at 80 miles in the morning and 70 miles
at 1:00 P.M. The wind was coming from the NE and was
fairly light today.
Even with cooler temperatures yesterday July is still
running just over 4 degrees above normal. We had only
had two days of precipitation both caused by overnight
thunderstorms with heavy rain making the precipitation
total just above normal so far this month.
