COOLER TEMPERATURES AND RISING DEW POINTS

Today’s temperatures have been cooler than yesterday’s. The maximum
temperature reached yesterday was 83F. It was seasonable, and the average
temperature of 73F was just 1F above normal for this time of year. The
minimum this morning was only 59F, which is 4F below normal, and the maximum
so far was only 76F, which is 6F below the maximum temperature reached by
this time yesterday. The dew point was very low this morning, as it was
46F at 7:00 A.M. EST, but by 1:00 P.M., it had risen to 58F. Cumulus began to
increase in the sky, and pressure was falling as the day went on. Rain is
expected to arrive tomorrow.
