CONTINUED WARM, DRY, AND CALM CONDITIONS

Today’s temperatures were similar but slightly cooler than yesterday’s.
84F was the maximum temperature reached yesterday, but with a minimum
of 61F, the average temperature was only 1F above normal. So far today,
a maximum of 80F was reached, and the minimum was 61F which occurred early
this morning. The air was dry as dew points stayed in the mid-50s. The
wind was fairly light today out of the south-southeast, and the peak gust
so far was just 15 MPH out of the S at 11:54 A.M. EST. Altocumulus and
cirrus were in the area all day, and visibility stayed around 30-50 miles
due to distant haze in the area.
