BREEZY DAY STARTS OUT PARTLY SUNNY BUT
CLOUDS INCREASE BY AFTERNOON…

After a lighter wind day yesterday breezy
conditions have returned to Great Blue Hill.
Wind from the west began to pick up after
7:00 A.M. this morning and so far we have a
peak gust of 33 kts (38 MPH) by 1:00 P.M.
Temperatures have been close to or slightly
below seasonable with a high yesterday of 36F,
which is 6 degrees below the daily normal of
42F. Our low yesterday was a seasonable 24F.
So far today our low temperature since midnight
of 28F is slightly above seasonable of 25F. So
far today we have a max of 37F, which is
5 degrees below the daily normal of 42F.
With fairly low humidity we had great
visibility in the morning. With a distant fog
moving in, in the afternoon. The morning
started with partly sunny skies again but
clouds increased throughout the day with the
sky mostly covered in clouds by 1:00 P.M.
We had a few scattered snow showers yesterday
but we only measured a trace this morning.
