CLEAR, COOL, AND, DRY DAY AFTER YESTERDAY’S

Light snow began yesterday around 10:40 A.M.
Light snow continued until just before 2:00 P.M.
and then switched over to rain. We measured
a total of 1.1 inches of snow before the rain
began. We measured 0.62 ins. of precipitation,
0.11 ins. from the snow and 0.52 ins. from rain.
Visibility ranged from 45-40 miles due to a
distant fog at each observation. Today skies were
partly cloudy with a mixture of stratocumulus and
cirrostratus clouds.
So far our high for the day of 30F was at midnight.
Temperatures dropped down to 20F before 10:00 A.M.,
and then temperatures began to slowly rise for a
high of 28F since 10:00 A.M. With winds from the
south yesterday afternoon we hit an above
seasonable max of 42F around 7:30 P.M. The wind
then changed direction and has been from the WNW
for most of today making temperatures slightly
below normal.
