IS OFF TO A WARMER THAN AVERAGE START…

Temperatures have risen 32 degrees since yesterday
morning’s minimum of 12F. So far today we have had
a high of 44F, which is 10 degrees above the daily
normal of 34F. The wind changed direction yesterday
afternoon from the WNW-S and have continued to be
from the south today. The wind has picked up
throughout the day frequently gusting over 22 kts
(25 MPH) in the afternoon.

January had many fluctuations in temperature but the
average for the month ended just slightly above
normal. The month also was well above normal for
precipitation, especially snow.
