DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2018
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

SKIES CLEAR AFTER EARLY MORNING SNOWSTORM…

An early morning snow storm accumulated to 2.5 ins
on top of Great Blue Hill. Temperatures have
remained much cooler today than yesterday’s max of
45F. So far today the warmest was 34F at 3:00 A.M.
Temperatures have continue to decrease since then.
Also around 3:00 the wind began to shift from the
south to the NW. This is what caused the drop in
temperatures today. Early this morning while the
snow was still falling the visibility was variable
from 1 to 2 miles. As the humidity dropped and the
skies cleared we had an 80 miles by 1:00 P.M.
