MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2018
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

WINDS FROM THE SOUTH BRING RELATIVELY WARM AIR
TO GREAT BLUE HILL…

Light winds from the south warmed Great Blue
Hill today. Yesterday we had a low of -2F
and a high of 15F which are about 20 degrees
below seasonable. So far today temperatures
are still below seasonable but have felt
warmer compared to last week’s Arctic blast.
By 1:00 PM we recorded a high of 28F, this
is still 7 degrees below the seasonable high of
35F. Sky remained partly cloudy today with
cirrostratus clouds. A distant haze kept
visibility between 40-60 miles today.
