SNOWSTORM LEAVES 6 INCHES ON TOP OF GREAT
BLUE HILL…

A light snow/ rain mixture began falling yesterday
afternoon and continued on and off throughout the
night. So far today we measured a total of 5.9 ins.
of snow and 0.42 inches of liquid precipitation by
1:00 P.M. Wind from the NNW was moderate today
frequently gusting to 20 kts (23 MPH). With wind
coming from the north temperatures remained below
seasonable with a high of 25F by 1:00 P.M. This is
9 degrees below the daily normal of 34F. We had a
significant decrease in humidity from 95% at
10:00 A.M. to 55% at 1:00 P.M. This allowed for
visibility to greatly increase from 1 1/2 miles
to 70 miles.
