HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM FINALLY MOVES OUT OF AREA

Pressure began falling overnight allowing
winds to pick up and low level stratus clouds
to form. Skies remained overcast with small
breaks in the cloud cover through out the day.
An overnight rain storm left 0.11 ins.
of precipitation on top of Great Blue Hill.
An afternoon rainstorm left and additional
0.05 ins. by the 1:00 PM EST.

Low pressure has made for a windy afternoon
with a peak gust of 42 kts (48 MPH) by 1400E.
Winds have been from the S/SSE. With winds from
the southern direction, temperatures continue to
be above seasonable with a high of 72F by 1:00 PM.
EST. This is 14 degrees above the normal of 58F.
