FOGGY HUMID MORNING CLEARS FOR MILD DAY

The morning started with a dense fog that limited
visibility to 1/8 of a mile at 7:00 AM and 1/2
of a mile a 10:00 AM EST. The fog moved out of
the area before 1:00 PM EST but lingered in the
distance limiting visibility to 45 miles.

Winds have been light and variable from the SSE.
The wind started to slightly pick up in the
afternoon with a peak gust of 14 kts (16 MPH) by
1:00 PM EST. The southerly wind is causing
temperatures to continue to be above seasonable
with a high of 73F yesterday, which is 15 degrees
above the normal, and 68F by 1:00 PM EST today.
Today’s temperature so far is already 10 degrees
above the normal for this day. So far this October
