CLEAR START TO MORNING WITH INCREASING CIRRUS CLOUDS BY AFTERNOON

It was a clear morning at Great Blue Hill, with just few cirrus.
Visibility was excellent at 80 miles. By the afternoon, a layer
of broken cirrus moved in. A layer of scattered cumulus was also
present, but it only covered about 1/4 of the sky. Despite the
increasing clouds, visibility stayed at 80 miles.

Temperatures so far have been slightly cooler than yesterday.
Overnight, the temperature got down to a minimum of 59F. The
maximum temperature so far is 80F. Yesterday’s maximum
temperature was 83F,  which is 6F over the normal maximum
temperature of 77F. Dew points have been in the low 50s. The
relative humidity at the 1:00 P.M. EST observation was 37%,
making for very dry conditions. Wind has been fairly light out
of the West, and pressure has been slowly falling throughout
the day.
