BACK DOOR COLD FRONT PASSES AT 11:50 A.M. EDT
LOW CLOUDS AND TEMPS. IN 60’S FOLLOW FRONT
LIGHT AMOUNT OF RAINFALL EARLY TODAY

After a warm very humid night last night the early
morning low was 70 degrees.  Today’s high of 80F
occurred at 11:40 A.M. EDT just before a back door
cold front suddenly passed over the summit with a
wind shift to northeast.

Rain showers early this morning left only 0.27 inch
here while several inches of rain fell in western
Mass. and New Hampshire.  Pittsfield MA had 4.00 ins!
My local weather station 10 miles east of Blue Hill
at Hingham had just 0.04 inch while Boston’s Logan
Airport had 0.26 inch but Beverly just to the north
received 1.62 inches.
