We observed hazy conditions, limiting visibility to less than 40 miles on average. Building cumulus were seen in the afternoon hours, along with a more significant haze. This was despite a gradually dropping humidity, reaching 60% by noontime. A southerly wind averaging around 15 mph has advected a significant amount of warm air into the region, bringing temperatures well above seasonal averages. The high so far today is 90F, 9 degrees above the daily normal maximum of 81F.
