The temperature has reached the mid-80s as of early this afternoon, with a dew point in the low to mid-60s. Visibility has been poor and under ten miles all day. There were two thunderstorms on Friday, one in the early morning and another in late afternoon near 5:30 PM EDT. The first brought no rain and the second just 0.12 inch with a peak gust to 45 mph NNW. There was some tree and power line damage in Canton a mile or two south of the hill in the afternoon thunderstorm. Additional thunderstorms are possible this afternoon.
