The low temperature again this morning dropped to the low 50's for the second morning in a row after that record low reading of 51 degrees for August 7. Today's low was five degrees short of the record low of 47 degrees. The past two days both have mean temperatures running 9 degrees cooler than normal. The August mean temperature through the first week of the month is 2 degrees COOLER than average. More super great visibility for August continues today ranging up to 75 to 85 miles after 75 miles reported in our observations for yesterday.
