This is the highest temperature since 88 was recorded on July 8th. There have been only three days so far this year with a maximum temperature of 90 or higher. June saw two 91 degree readings, and 90 was recorded on July 5th. Two days with thunderstoms this week brings the total number of thunderstorm days for the year up to 6, with one each in March, May and June, and three in July. The month is still averaging above normal for both temperature and precipitation.
