A maximum of 92 was recorded right at 2 p.m....then wind backing to SSW and gusting to around 30 mph seemed to be capping the temperature rise.... Temperatures reached the lower 90's here early this afternoon for the first time since 90 degrees on June 30. Also, the highest temperatures are being recorded today since 92 degrees on May 2-3.
