The low temperature this morning of 53 was just 5 degrees above the record low for the date of 48 set in 1902. Blue Hill has not had a record low temperature in more than five years. - MJI VOLUNTEER WEEK-END TOUR GUIDES NEEDED... We are having a training session for anyone wishing to come and help us do week-end public tours here at Blue Hill Observatory. The date is Saturday, July 14, 2001, right here at the Observatory. The training will be done in conjunction with actual public tours which will be going on that day. We pay you a mileage re-imbursement of 30 cents per mile.
